Background of Organization: 

Mmuseum was founded in the year 1958, a year after the Malaysian independence. It was officially opened by Malaysia’s first prime minister where thousands of spectators gathered to witness the opening ceremony. It has soon been through many renovations from both exterior and interior. The museum stores different varieties of precious items ranging from artifact to memorabilia that belongs to the nation. The important figure behind this iconic museum is Afiq Mazli who had spent almost 20 years in his role as a director of this museum.The museum uses the old conventional software that consists of stand alone databases.

Description about new IT system:

After series of auditing by the governing bodies , we were told to follow a new set of standard . One of it it that we were required to implement a new system into the museum. By doing so, We had to ditch the old system and replace it with a new one . The new system must accommodate every stakeholders' need that is associated with the museum .Our hope is that the new system could on a large scale in an efficient way . For instance, the new system should have inter-related databases to avoid data redundancy and many more.
