PROJECT DETAIL:

After series of auditing by governing bodies, we were told to follow a new set of standards. One of it is that we were required to implement a new system into the museum. By doing so ,We had to ditch the old system and replace it with a new one. The new system must accommodate every stakeholder's need within the organization. Our hope is so that the new system could work on large scale in an efficient way. For instance , the new system should have inter-related databases to avoid data redundancy and many more..

*Create and manage diverse exhibition programs to display the Museum's permanent collection
*Make venue and room planning , object reservation, monitor production and installation schedules.
*Contribute to the development of the structure, themes and content of the exhibition
*Track all important tasks, milestones and deadlines related to exhibition management
*Involves in promoting the event and coordinating the production of tickets, posters, and related publications

Property manager 
* The system should have databases to store the data of all items within the museum based on individual coding.
* It must also be able to notify for occasional property maintenance check up based on preset date.
* The system must also be integrated with the museum's financial division for any transactions processes.
* The system must also be integrated with the museum's security division for any emergency issues regarding the museum's property.

* Able to do planning for the exhibition. For example, knows which artifact goes where, the theme of the event, 50 artifact per event etc.
* Keep the types and amount of materials needed for the event. For example, carpet, booth, glass to cover the artifact etc.
* Able to view each artifact dimensions.

* Provide guided tours of collections and exhibitions for growing audience of age 5 to 18, college students, teachers and also special tours for persons with visual and/or hearing impairments.
* Planning and hosting museum events such as delivering talks, workshops, lectures, fundraisers and educational programs for museum members and the general public.
* Provide online access to museum collections for distance learning.
* Create and develop educational resources for visitors, schools, families and special interest groups.
